COHPA is a Shared Service Organization (SSO) which is responsible for all aspects of supply chain management from planning to sourcing and procurement through movement of inventory and processing of payables for hospitals.
Reporting to the Information Technology Relationships Manager, the Application Database Administrator is responsible
  • ensuring that the COHPA SQL environment (e.g., servers, databases, reports) effectively provide excellent supply chain services to several hospitals
·         Develops impactful reports and scorecards using SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, MS Excel, pivot tables and other intuitive graphical add-ons.
·         Develops impactful reports and scorecards using SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, MS Excel, pivot tables and other intuitive graphical add-ons. 
·         Manages SQL Server databases in support of enterprise applications, including data synchronizations, database replication, backup, and recovery.
·         Writes SQL code (stored procedures, triggers, database scripts) to implement business logic and database maintenance.
·         Performs data integration duties including transfers, mining, transforming, and consolidating information from heterogeneous sources.
Qualfiications:
·  Bachelor or diploma in Information Systems, Business or other technical/analytical with focus on Relational Databases.
·  Completed several courses on MS SQL (2005/2008).  Certification preferred.
·  Proven talent in Database Analysis and advanced data-mining and reporting skills using SQL Server 2005/2008 Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, and Horizon Business Insight (HBI).
·  Strong technical expertise with Microsoft.NET, SQL Server, Integration Services (SSIS), and database query languages (T-SQL) in most recent SQL Server releases (i.e., 2005, 2008).
·  Experience integrating SQL with other services (e.g., SharePoint, document management system, fax server).
·  Experience translating business processes such as Procurement/Finance/Accounting into database operations.
·  Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
